The college curriculum is based on the current national curriculum for schools as stipulated in the National Policy on Education (NPE) of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Providence Heights “Ph” Secondary school took off on Monday 26th September, 1994 with fifty-nine (59) students in Junior Secondary School (JSS) 1 and 2. At inception, the school had four classrooms, eight teaching staff, a security house and a small administrative office. By November of the same year, the population of the students had risen to eighty-one and the staff increased to nineteen. The staff population continued to rise steadily from nineteen in May 1995 to fifty-five in 2002. As at 26th January, 2005 the staff strength had risen to sixty-two (62), while the student population stood at eight hundred and fifty (850).
